Bright House Networks announces the 4th season of “On A Tankfull” on channel 300

BAKERSFIELD, CA March 31, 2009- Can’t afford a big vacation this year?  Experience Kern County without even having to get into your vehicle.

Bright House Networks announced today that their highly acclaimed local show “On A Tank-Full” is returning for its fourth season. “On A Tank-Full” is a 15 minute travel program, unique and exclusive and special to Bright House Networks customers that highlights unique activities, adventures and community events occurring around Kern County. This program will give you a fresh perspective and education about the area we call home.

Bright House Networks digital customers can enjoy this free local programming seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

If you have missed previous episodes of “On A Tank-Full”, digital customers can catch them on Bakersfield on Demand Channel 300 at any time free of charge for the month of April!

Hosted by a variety of hosts, including Vance Palm and Colleen Dillaway, previous episodes have featured ways to keep cool, batting practice with a local minor league baseball team, and annual events that are very local to Kern County.

This season you will experience the passion and time that people devote to their “bugs” at the Annual Volkswagen Show held at the Kern County Museum. Or, if you want to experience and gain an appreciation for another country’s traditions, dress and music, the “Scottish Games” will be the episode to catch.

“The original intent of launching “On A Tank-Full” was to bring the Southern San Joaquin Valley into people’s living rooms. I’m proud to say that in its fourth season, the episodes have never been better. We remain committed to bringing exclusive local programming to our customers and community,” stated Joe Schoenstein, President of Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Division.
