ORLANDO, Fla. (February 9, 2009) -- Bright House Networks recognized eight employees at the Crystal House Awards Gala held in Daytona Beach, Florida on Thursday, Feb. 5. The Crystal House Awards recognizes employees for exemplifying a strong commitment to community through volunteerism and philanthropy. Each of the winners has an extraordinary sense of responsibility and has consistently made a significant difference in the communities they live in and as an employee of Bright House Networks.
The 2009 Crystal House Award winners are: John Doctor and Barbara Brunner (Tampa Bay), Gary Walsh (Central Florida), Adam Calvillo (Bakersfield, California), Rodney White (Birmingham, Alabama), Abesita Garcia (Detroit, Michigan), James Burton (Indianapolis, Indiana) and Jacqueline Brockington (Central Florida News 13/Orlando, Florida).
Each winner received a Crystal House trophy, a check for $2,000, a donation of $3,000 that will be given to a charity or charities of their choice and a two-night, all expense paid trip to Daytona Beach Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The Crystal House Awards is four years old and has recognized many employees for their outstanding efforts in the communities they live and work.
