Bright House Networks has been a pacesetter in providing cable television programming excellence. In 1966, a model for urban cable systems, the company carried just 12 channels of programming, consisting mostly of local broadcast stations and public access.
Today, more than 250 channels are offered on an interactive, addressable system featuring numerous pay-per-view channels and scores of channels with entertainment, news, public affairs, commercial-free films, sports and several channels dedicated to the City's diverse ethnic population.
Customer Support is available 7:00am till 10:00pm weekdays, and from 8:00am till 5:00pm on Saturdays. Repair lines are open 24 hours a day. English and Spanish are spoken in our call centers. Investing in technology for its customer service applications, Bright House Networks installed a sophisticated telephone system to better respond to customers. This cutting edge technology enhancement will speed customer telephone transactions.
Bright House Network's commitment to its customers extends well beyond excellence in service and programming. The company launched a service guarantee program in June, 1994 which was later adopted by the nation's cable systems in 1995. The commitment guarantees on-time arrival for installation and repair service, as well as guaranteed next business day appointments for service. If the commitment is not met, Bright House Network waives the installation charge for a new installation order, or credits the account $20 for a service call. Since 1994, the company continues to meet its on-time commitments 99% of the time.
